DMROS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data DMROS collects when you sign up for early access, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We collect only what we need and we do not sell your data.

1. Who is responsible (data controller)

The controller responsible for processing your data is:

NexaVert sp. z o.o.
Szlak 77/22, 31-153 Kraków, Poland
Contact: sp9ab@dmros.com

2. What we collect and why

When you submit the early-access form, we collect and store:

  • Email address — to contact you about DMROS early access and to send the confirmation (double opt-in) email.
  • Amateur-radio callsign — to keep the early-access list to licensed operators and to understand our audience. Please note that a callsign can identify you: in many countries it is linked to your name in a public licence registry, and many operators publish further details (name, location, photo) on public sites such as QRZ.com. We do not create that linkage; we simply store the callsign you provide.
  • Your motivation (optional survey) — if you answer the short survey on the thank-you page, we store which option you chose and any free-text comment, to learn which use-cases matter most.
  • Technical data — your IP address and browser user-agent string at the time of signup, kept for security, abuse-prevention (rate limiting) and spam filtering.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this site. The only data stored in your browser is a small preference remembering your light/dark theme choice, which is essential to that feature and is never transmitted to us.

3. Legal basis

We process your email, callsign and survey answer on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the form and confirming via the double opt-in email. We process the technical data (IP, user-agent) on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the service secure and free of abuse. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

4. Who we share it with (processors)

  • Kit (ConvertKit) — our email service provider, which stores your email and callsign and sends the confirmation and future announcement emails on our behalf. Kit is operated from the United States; the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards and your consent.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-preserving anti-bot check on our signup form, used in invisible mode (no interaction or visible challenge in most cases). It does not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare's processing of the data this check collects is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Our hosting provider — the server (located in the EU) on which the site and our database run.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as the DMROS early-access programme is active, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you do not confirm your subscription, we may delete the unconfirmed record. Security logs (IP / user-agent) are kept only as long as needed for abuse prevention.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted (“right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us directly;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).

To exercise any of these rights, email sp9ab@dmros.com.

7. What we don't do

We only store the data you give us plus the technical data in section 2. We do not enrich your record from external sources — for example, we do not scrape or import data about you from public callsign databases such as QRZ.com. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and tell you before any such processing begins.

8. Changes to this policy

DMROS is in active development. If we change what we collect or how we process it — for example, if we add new features — we will update this policy and its “last updated” date before the new processing begins.
